... it makes me feel dumb. Particularly trying to write answers for Niran. Going out of my way to try to make them interesting. But doing this does make me realize, I think I want to try playing Gadreel again. I need to get back into gaming with people.
Survey goes here:
Pick 3 characters, and have them answer the following questions accordingly. (They may be original characters or not):
1. Mashiro
2. Niran
3. Gadreel
---
1. Number one, what was your childhood like?
Mashiro: My childhood is not something I remember very well. I suppose it was happy, as well as rather short in relation to the average childhood here.
---
2. Character number three, if you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be? (It can be something regarding your personal history, or something that is in the history books.)
Gadreel: If we could change one thing? Just one? It needs to ask? We would strike that fool angel off his high horse, let *him* fall, not us!
---
3. Number two, would you rather be immortal and eternally miserable, or live a mortal, blissfully peaceful life?
Niran: What does it mean by "eternally miserable?" *Our* definition of "eternally miserable?" If so, then the scenarios are the same in all but the immortal/mortal area. We would rather live forever -- calm can be easily broken.
---
4. Say, character number three, how much do you weigh?
Gadreel: How much does a feather weigh? What about a few hundred thousand?
---
5. Have you ever loved and lost, number one? I'll bet it was your fault, wasn't it? Tsk tsk...
Mashiro: Yes. And yes. I have come to terms with this.
---
6. Oh, no character two! You've just strolled into a department store to admire the lovely washing machines when a guy with a nylon stocking over his head runs in and holds the whole store at gunpoint! How will you save the day? (If you are a coward and do not wish to save the day, what do you do upon Stocking Head's arrival?)
Niran: ... why should *we* want to save the day? We can lay low, play along. Perhaps follow him out... Mmm. Yes, perhaps.
---
7. Number Three, tell your best "Yo Momma" joke.
Gadreel: What?
---
8. Who is the one person you cannot live without, character number one? Why? (Please don't say Oprah, please don't say Oprah...)
Mashiro: Byakko. He is my brother.
---
9. Hey, number two, tell me one of your deepest, darkest secrets. To make you feel better, I'll tell one of mine: I don't have any deep, dark secrets.
Niran: Why, how coincidental! Neither do we!
---
10. All characters: What kind of music do you listen to? Do you play any instruments? If so, which ones? (Yes...the kazoo counts. Your nose, however, does not.)
Mashiro: ... excess noise. I suppose traditional music is not so bad. I can play a drum.
Niran: Anything loud with a decent beat. Hearts have a nice beat to them, don't you think? Strong, strong, until they stutter off into silence. Oh, we can play quite a number of instruments, yes...
Gadreel: There is always music, we cannot but listen.
---
11. What is the most annoying thing in the world, character one?
Mashiro: I try to avoid annoying things, so I would not know.
---
12. Finish the statement, number three: Art is...
Gadreel: Everything.
---
12. Finish the statement, number two: People are...
Niran: ... best served rare!
---
13. Finish the statement, number one: Imagination...
Mashiro: ... is a door.
---
14. All characters: Out of the three of you, who is the most outgoing? Reserved? Humorous? Stinky?
Mashiro: ... I don't stink.
Niran: He does! Well, not right *now,* no... but other times. Sleep with dogs, get fleas -- that's the general idea, yes? ... ch! And he just gives us that blank look! Na, Mashiro needs to be more *fun* sometimes...
Gadreel: Why! We don't seem to have been introduced! Might we ask your names? Perhaps we might even sing them!
---
15. Quick, Number three! Write a poem!
Gadreel: Serenading sky; stars awake behind nimbus; endless in the night.
---
16. What is your favorite word, number one?
Mashiro: ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... "dissonance" is an interesting word.
---
17. Character number three, what is one weird thing that you can do? (i.e. wiggle your ears, fold your tongue, play 'amazing grace' with your armpit...)
Gadreel: What does it want us to do? We can do all sorts of things.
---
18. Speak any other languages, Number Two?
Niran: Yes, we've picked up a few.
---
19. What is your nationality, character number one?
Mashiro: I am from Japan. One might assume that I am Japanese.
---
20. Pick, number two: asparagus or canned peas? Please elaborate.
Niran: Ch! Herbivores...
---
21. What scares you the most, character three?
Gadreel: Truly? Does it want to know? The silence! It's terrifying! Horrible! Absolutely horrible!
---
22. All characters: What is one thing you would like the world to know about you?
Mashiro: If you are finished, please leave me alone now.
Niran: Nothing more! But perhaps we might like to know a bit more about this "world!" Would anyone like to play?
Gadreel: They are *always* screaming! Or perhaps they are singing? Are they singing for me, little birds, little kittens?
